CELEB WATCH…HAIR ACCESSORIES
By Amy Lawrenson
The A-listers know if they want to get ahead on the red carpet they need to be able to work a hair accessory effortlessly. Hair decoration is big news for spring / summer (thanks to Chanel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs) and it is the easiest way to add interest to your look.

Weird but true hair tip from Toni&Guy at London Fashion Week 2011
Sep 20, 2011 09:15:00 AM by Louise O’Connell
Toni & Guy International Artistic Director Bill Watson, shares an insider tip from backstage at the Dans la Vie show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout
OK, not the most glamorous of tools, but toilet paper is a serious hair saviour when it’s frantic backstage. Simply wrap around your head whilst getting ready, it will stop your freshly styled ‘do looking anything other than perfect and is light enough not to leave any telling marks. Just don’t forget to take it off!
I hope I’ve been of some help to you in your efforts to save money on your wedding and also to find a great DIY hair piece that will fit your style and vision. Please keep in mind that on these projects where you are using a artificial flower cut off the stem… You can use any artificial flower you want besides the one shown in the tutorial. Look for a flower/flowers that match your dress or wedding theme. If you are wanting something with a little more bling any of these finished pieces would be beautiful embellished with swarovski crystals or rhinestones-even the birdcage veils. Ultimately, it’s up to you and what you love and want for your special day.
If you are interested in making some handmade flowers out of wedding type materials like Tulle,Satin, Organza etc.. (instead of artificial flowers cut off the stem), I have a hub tutorial here on DIY fabric flower hair accessories. You can also see my other fabric flower hub here for more great ideas. Pretty much any of the flowers can be made out of the material of your choice and glued to a comb or hair clip.
Good luck and Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I wish you many years of happiness together!
